The Lebanese General Security arrested Friday three Lebanese men over links to Daesh terrorist group.
The move came within the framework of monitoring terrorist groups and combating terror networks involved in recruiting citizens and smuggling.
The three confessed that they are members of Daesh, and had used social media to publish its news, the Lebanese General Security said in a statement.
They also admitted contacting the Daesh coordinator in Raqqa, in order to move to Syria and join Daesh militants.
The suspects were referred to the judiciary to stand trial and work is ongoing to arrest other involved parteners.
