The second court hearing into former President, martyr Bachir Gemayel's assassination has begun at the Judicial Council.
The family of the martyr, lawyers of Kataeb party and Chartouni lawyers attended the trial.
The hearing coincided with a protest organized by "July 8 Movement" in front of Justice Palace, hoisting banners in support of Chartouni. Banners also called on the Lebanese state to consider Chartouni a "hero" rather than "criminal."
ISF took measures to prevent the arrival of the protest to the Justice Palace and participants left the place upon the request of security forces.
