Tear gas fired by Israeli forces during clashes

Dozens of Palestinians Monday suffocated by tear gas fired by Israeli forces during clashes  on Monday that broke out in the towns of al-Izariyeh and Abu Dis, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, said WAFA correspondent.

Israeli forces reportedly attacked protesters, who closed off the main street with burning tires and earth mounds, firing a barrage of live fire, stun grenades and tear gas canisters at protesters, causing dozens of suffocation cases among them.

Palestinians in Israel and the occupied territories observed on Monday a general strike in protest against the new racist Israeli law, the Nation-State Basic Law.
