Egyptian decor designer Yousra Abdel Rahman, revealed that she designed special designs for the spring festival.
"This year, I decided to make new decor entitled "the smallest salted fish (fermented grey mullet) dish in Egypt," she said.
"Every year I try to present new ideas in Easter Day and spring festivals," she stated in interview with Arabs Today.
"I wanted to present a special Egyptian decor, and the idea began when I noticed that most of the decorations of the spring festivals are limited to colored eggs, rabbits, roses and butterflies, and although these components are considered the most prominent features of the spring, but the salted and herring fish in Egypt are the origin in the spring festivals for the days of the Pharaohs," Abdel Rahman added, stressing that she decided to draw designs in the spirit of Egyptian for Egyptian girls on the Easter Day.
Abdel Rahman also painted salted and herring fish, Easter eggs, spring onion, rabbits in modern forms to be used in the decoration of the house in such days.
