German Airlines Lufthansa Tunis – Azhaar al-Jarboui German Airlines Lufthansa are launching a daily flight from Tunisia to Europe, seven days a week, starting October 28. This would make travelling to Europe easier and more comfortable to passengers either for business or tourism. The morning flights will provide passengers with comfortable connection flights to Europe through a Lufthansa station in Frankfurt. Depending on the final destination in Europe, passengers will be able to find connecting flights with less transit times. Frankfurt international Airport opened its new Pier A-Plus, which consists of four floors in Terminal 1 on October 10, allowing the passengers to relax in a more comfortable area before taking their flights. In addition to 23 new gates in parallel floors of Terminal 1, passengers will find more commercial shops to shop, as well as relaxing in any of Lufthansa’s five new Lounges in Pier A- Plus, including Senator, Businessmen and first class lounges. Lufthansa offers its passengers from Tunis through Frankfurt to Washington DC or New Delhi or Bangalore, the new businessmen comfort on the new Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental called “Queen of the Skies”, which includes a seat that can be converted at the press of a button into a horizontal sleeping surface. The new seat offers exceptional comfort for passengers in a sitting or recumbent position, intuitive adjustment features, additional storage space and enhanced entertainment system. Frank Van den Steen, regional general director of Lufthansa in North Africa, Malta and Senegal said: “Our passengers from Tunisia can  look forward to a wonderful level of comfort when travelling. Lufthansa investments in products and services are starting to pay off. We give great importance to our honourable passengers through the services we provide on the ground for travel procedures, or in air during the flight. That’s because their comfort is our first priority. There is no doubt that during the direct morning flights between Tunis and Frankfurt, we assure our customers that Lufthansa is keen on permanently being here all the days of the week to transport them to the destinations they choose.” Lufthansa flights can be booked through their website or in travel agencies, which means that passengers from Tunis will have the flexibility to choose other airlines within Lufthansa group, in addition to the “Star Alliance” allies. Lufthansa has flights to more than 200 destinations in more than 80 countries around the world.
