President Abdel Fattah El Sisi delegated presidential secretary Abdel Aziz Sherif to the Afghan Embassy in Cairo Wednesday to extend greetings on the occasion of Afghanistan's Independence Day.

Afghanistan celebrates its Independence Day every year on 19 August, when it achieved full independence from the reigns of British Empire in 1919.
