Al Azhar condemned Tuesday the terrorist attack on Arish airport, which left an officer dead and two others wounded.

In a statement, Al Azhar said such a cowardly act would not discourage the Armed Forces from continuing their efforts to defeat and uproot terrorism and would further enhance the support of the Egyptian people for their army and police in the face of the imminent threat that aimed to destabilize the homeland.
