Al Azhar strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted on Thursday a police vehicle on a main road in Fayyoum, leaving a soldier dead and three others wounded.
A security source told MENA that the attack was carried out by unidentified masked gunmen who opened fire on the vehicle.
In a Friday statement, Al Azhar reiterated its rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism.
Al Azhar also emphasized its support for the Armed Forces and police personnel in combating these terrorists and uprooting terrorism.
