Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit on Thursday condemned a van-ramming attack in Barcelona, Spain.

Abul Gheit offered condolences to the government and people of Spain and the families of the deceased.

Earlier in the day, 13 people died and dozens were injured when a van ploughed into crowds in Barcelona's famous Las Ramblas area.
