The Saudi Foreign Ministry condemned on Sunday the twin suicide attacks that hit central Kirkuk in northern Iraq.
The attacks, that targeted a Shi'ite Muslim mosque on Atlas Street in central Kirkuk, left 5 dead and 20 wounded.
The ministry offered its heartfelt condolences to the Iraqi government and people as well as the families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to all injured.
It reiterated the kingdom’s support of Baghdad in the face of terrorism and extremism.
