Spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid on Monday strongly condemned a terrorist attack carried out by Daesh on the Iraqi Embassy in the Afghan capital, Kabul.

In a statement, the ministry affirmed Egypt's full solidarity with Iraq in their war on terrorism.

The attack represents a desperate attempt by Daesh following victories achieved by Iraq in its war against the terror group, it added.
