Egypt condemned the terrorist attack that was carried out by three suicide bombers and targeted a camp for the displaced in Nigeria.

The assault left 28 persons dead and 82 others injured.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, Egypt offered condolences over the death of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded.

Egypt supports the Nigerian government and people to overcome terrorism phenomenon, urging the international community to eradicate extremism, the statement read.
