Egypt's Foreign Ministry has condemned in the strongest terms Sunday's Orlando shooting which killed approximately 50 people and injured 53 others.
In a statement, spokesman for the ministry Ahmed Abu Zaid offered the Egyptian government's and people's condolences to the US government and people, wishing speedy recovery to the injured of the hideous attack.
He expressed Egypt's solidarity with the US authorities and people.
The spokesman renewed Egypt's condemnation to all kinds of terror and violence, calling for an overall confrontation and an international solidarity to put an end to the phenomenon of terrorism worldwide.
A suspected terrorist shooting at an LGBT nightclub in Orlando has left 50 people dead.
