The Egyptian Council of Churches mourned renowned Egyptian scientist Ahmed Zewail who passed away Tuesday in the US at the age of 70.
Zewail did not hesitate to serve his country nor to participate in its development despite his busy schedule, the council’s Secretary-General Refaat Fathy said in a press release Thursday.
He will always be a role model for next generations, he added.
