The French Embassy here mourned Wednesday great scholar Ali el Saman who passed away at the age of 88 on Thursday.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the embassy said that el Saman has been a "lover for Egypt and France".
He was born in 1929 and he had many studies and researches as well as media contributions in political and intellectual issues.
The late scholar got a license of law from Alexandria University in 1953.
