Bahrain's Ministry of Interior announced the death of 1st Lieutenant Hisham Hassan Mohammed Al Hammadi, who was shot to death in Bilad Al Qadeem.

According to Bahrain News Agency, BNA, the security agencies rushed to the crime scene. Initial evidence indicated an act of terror had claimed the life of the officer who was off duty.
