Jordan’s Catholic Center for Studies and Media on Monday condemned Sunday’s terrorist bombing at Boutrosiya Church in Cairo’s Abbassiya district, which left 23 people dead.
“This crime shows that terrorism targets the right of the sacred human who is protected by God’s law to life and the social peace and aims at creating sectarian sedition,” the center said in a statement.
The center called for holding prayers at Jordan’s mosques and churches during the glorious holidays to pay tribute to the innocent martyrs.
It stressed its condemnation of any terrorist attack in any place, especially in the worship houses, offering condolences to Pope Tawadros II and the Coptic Orthodox Church.
