His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Athletic Federation has expressed his sadness and offered his sincere condolence to the Kingdom of Bahrain on the sad demise of veteran Bahraini horseman Mohammed Ghazwan.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa said that Bahrain has lost one of its leading sons and athletes, who contributed to its development and enriched its horse-riding and equestrian sports.
His Highness recalled the achievements of the deceased and his noteworthy contributions to the sport, adding that he had a positive impact on the sport and spared no effort to develop equestrian sports and promote it among the Bahraini youth.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa said: "Bahrain has lost a son and an athlete who contributed to the establishment and development of many fields especially equestrian sports and horse riding, reflecting his patriotism and concern about the image of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people."
His Highness added that the deceased will always be remembered as a prominent figure in the world of Bahraini equestrian sports in view of his unforgettable contributions to the sport.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa prayed to Allah the Almighty to bestow His mercy on the deceased.
