Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia sent on Friday a cable of condolences to Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria over the killing of innocent Egyptian Christians by Daesh in Libya on Sunday.
In his cable, Patriarch Kirill said there is no excuse for committing such heinous crimes.
He also slammed the extremist groups for their attempts to foment sedition between Muslims and Christians in the Middle East.
Moreover, Patriarch Kirill called on the international community to act to face extremism and terrorism.
