Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese led on Saturday the funeral mass of Anba Sawiris, Bishop of the Monastery of the Holy Virgin Mary (Muharraq Monastery), who died at the age of 74.
The funeral mass was held in St. Peter & St. Paul Coptic Orthodox Church (El Botroseya Church) in Cairo's Abbassiya district.
The mass was attended by a number of the Holy Synod's members, Assiut Governor Yasser el Disoky and some public figures.
