Libya's Interim Prime Minister Abdullah al Thinni lashed out at the international community over giving a cold shoulder to a terror attack on the oil region of al Hilal.
In statements to the Libyan news agency on Tuesday, the premier said he is closely following up the situation, assuring the Libyans that the situation in al Hilal region is under control.
He said he is holding continued contacts with the head of the Libyan Armed Forces, Aguila Saleh, as well as leaders of several friendly states to stand on the situation on the ground.
He said a security operations room was formed to support the army and prevent any possible security violation by sleeper cells.
In a statement on Friday, the interim Libyan government said the Benghazi Defense Brigades (Saraya Bengahzi/BDB) - an offshoot of al Qaeda - launched a terror attack on al Hilal region.
