Constantine - Arab Today
President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika on Thursday voiced conviction that the Arab nation will succeed in this "globalized" world thanks to a "strong" economy and "well established" educational system.
"I remain convinced that our success in this globalized world depends on the building up of a strong world and a well established educational system," added the Head of the State in a message on the occasion of the celebration of Youm El Ilm and the inauguration of the event “Constantine, capital of the Arab culture 2015," read on his behalf of adviser Mohamed Benamar Zerhouni.
President Bouteflika announced that to achieve this goal, "we work so our children are fed only from the labor of their earth, are dressed in what their factories manufacture and take as a source of thinking and living only their own culture," adding that "we are also working to ensure that the education system is the best way to establish the identity of our children by strengthening their knowledge, their potential and their openness to cultures and universal languages, including taking advantage of technological progress. "
"Our future generations must never renounce knowledge and science, the only ways to secure their future and to allow them to bring their countries up to the global dynamics of progress, and occupy a prominent place in the comity of nations," insisted President Bouteflika while inviting the national intelligentsia to never departing from the pursuit of knowledge and continually soak up new technology.
"We will continue to resolutely endeavor to ensure them all the conditions needed for their development, in the service of their country," he affirmed while stressing its certainty that they "have the opportunity to contribute positively to the renaissance of Algeria as they cherish."
He urged "all the children of Algeria to arm themselves with knowledge and demonstrate unwavering patriotism."
