Cars drive on Qasr El-Nile bridge after a heavy rainfall in Cairo

The cabinet’s media center denied on Monday claims saying that Greater Cairo will be hit by rains and floods in the upcoming few days.

In a report, the cabinet said it contacted the head of Egyptian Meteorological Authority Ahmed Abdel Aal who denied such claims.

He noted that the weather will witness a state of instability starting from October 26.

Abdel Aal added that rains, that may develop into floods, are expected to hit a number of areas in Sinai, Suez Canal cities, Red Sea and the southern areas of the country.
