Four-time world champions Brazil will contest their fifth consecutive FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup final after they beat Portugal 4-1 in the semifinals on Saturday. Brazil will play in the final against Russia who beat El Salvador 7-3 in the earlier semifinal. Portugal raced ahead in the fifth minute when Alan received a pass from Madjer to volley home with his left foot. The Portuguese demonstrated greater focus throughout the first period, but unable to build up their lead allowing Brazil back into the match in the second period. Betinho\'s powerful shot caught the touch of a Portuguese defender, which was enough to deceive goalkeeper Paulo Graca and level things at one apiece. The goal lifted Brazilian spirits and the South Americans soon found themselves a goal ahead as Sidney hit home a low-drive. The match was put beyond doubt in the third and final period when Sidney netted his second with a cool chip from close range, while Bruno scored Brazil\'s fourth to hand the Portuguese their fourth defeat in five meetings with their rivals. The final between Brazil and Russia will be held on Sunday.
