Barcelona's Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets are in doubt for the first leg of the Spanish Supercup against Real Madrid on Sunday after they picked up injuries during Spain's friendly against Italy, the club said. Pique limped off the pitch clutching the back of his thigh near the end of the first half of Spain's 2-1 loss to Italy on Wednesday in the southern Italian city of Bari. The 24-year-old has a strained hamstring in his right leg and the evolution of the injury will determine if he is available for Sunday's match, Barcelona said in a statement posted on its website. His replacement during Spain's match against Italy, Busquets, has a bruised rib on his right side and is also in doubt for the match, it added. The second leg of the Spanish Supercup will be played at Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium on August 17.
