Coritiba were 2-0 winners over Palmeiras as Davi Rodriguez and Leonardo hit the target, Joao Vitor being sent off for Palmeiras with 11 minutes to go. Thiago Neves hit a hat-trick and Deivid netted twice as Flamengo defeated Cruzeiro 5-1, Ramon Anselmo put the visitors ahead before being sent off 17 minutes from time. Frederico Nieto scored both goals as Atletico Paranaense beat Atletico Goianiense 2-1 after the visitors had led through Nascimento Anselmo. Thiago Humberto and Felipe Azevedo scored for Ceara, who won 2-1 away to Avai - for whom William replied.
