Al Sadd sport club confidently booked place in the final of HH the Emir Cup after defeating Al Gharafa 2-1 at the Hamad bin Jassim stadium on Saturday. Al Sadd took the lead in the 22nd minute through Abdul Karim Hassan when he went through on goal. Al-Gharafa came back strong and equalized in the 35th minute through Lisandro Lopez. Khalfan Ibrahim restored the lead of Al Sadd through a penalty in the 41st minute. Likewise , Al Sailiya Sports Club made history after qualifying for the first-time ever to final of HH the Emir Cup on Saturday. The match with Al Ahly had to go down all the way to penalty kicks after the match ended in a 2-2 draw in the first match. Nerves of Al Ahly players showed in the penalty kicks, as they missed all of the three penalties they took. Al Sailiya players on the other hand showed nerves of steel as they converted their three penalty kicks. Al Sadd will meet with Al Sailiya in the final.
