Egyptian club Ismaily has begun negotiations with former Zamalek manager Hossam Hassan and his twin, football director Ibrahim to lead the coastal club. “Hossam Hassan is a brilliant coach,” member of Ismaily board Khaled El-Tayeb told Ahram Online, adding, “We will do our best to have him lead the football team next season.” Zamalek appointed former Egypt coach Hassan Shehata as their new manager early on Wednesday after surprisingly dismissing Hossam Hassan, who was widely expected to stay put despite a trophy-less season. Ismaily, who finished third in the Egyptian Premier League table, have sacked former coach Emad Soliman after the season finale. ”Hassan was able to give Zamalek a spirit of enthusiasm and determination and this is what we need in Ismaily,” El-Tayed confirmed. Reports persist that Ismaily were in negotiations with the Pharaohs’ former coach before Zamalek snatched him. From ahramonline .
