Manama - Arab Today
Kuwait are set to face Oman while the United Arab Emirates will face the tougher hurdle of runners-up Saudi Arabia in the Gulf Cup Men's U-23 semi-final.
The semi-final pits the first-placed nations against the second of two groups, as Kuwait - second in Group A - face Group B leaders Oman, while last season's runners-up Saudi Arabia face Group A-toppers UAE.
Meanwhile, defending champions and hosts Bahrain were knocked out of the tournament after a defeat at the hands of Oman placed them third in Group B.
The competition ends on Monday.
