The championship is scheduled to be held from February 17 to 19 at the Military Sports Federation Field.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Khaled conveyed greetings of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and BREEF President Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
Dr. Khaled then welcomed the members of the working committees to the meeting and wished them all the success in their work to highlight the event at its best image.
Dr. Khaled said that the organizing committee provided all the working committees all that is necessary to have a successful event, which is being held in the memory of the Late Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who was a lover of equestrian sports.
Dr. Khaled noted that the launch of this event comes under the directives of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad to perpetuate the memory of the Late Shaikh Faisal Bin Hamad, as well as to reviving the Arabian Horse Beauty Championships, which is a part of Bahrain's heritage.
He pointed out that the last event was successful in all aspects, thanks to the large number of participation by Bahraini horse owners who were keen to take part in the event.
He revealed that all administrative procedures will be completed soon, saying that they will hire a number of arbitrators and commissioners accredited in Bahrain and abroad to manage the event.
During the meeting, the working committee heads reviewed their plans and programmes in order to succeed in all respects.
Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s Media Office and Information Centre Director Tawfiq Al Salehi reviewed the media plan for the event, which includes extensive coverage in local newspapers and social networking sites in addition to T.V. and radio coverage.
