Mexico striker Javier Hernandez was hospitalised after suffering concussion in a training ground incident on Manchester United's US tour, the English champions announced on Wednesday. Hernandez, who hit 20 goals last season, was hurt when taking part in training at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey on Tuesday ahead of United's friendly clash with the MLS All-Stars on Wednesday. "Chicharito sustained a mild concussion during training last night," a club statement said. "We have taken all the necessary precautions, which included an overnight stay in hospital. The manager will give further updates in due course." Hernandez, 23, only joined up with his United team-mates on Monday after playing for Mexico at the Copa America. After Wednesday's match, United will conclude their US tour on Saturday against European champions Barcelona in Washington.
