Lucas Neill who joined reigning Pro League and President’s Cup champions Al Jazira, was presented to the media on late Monday evening at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium premises. Neill as wells as two local recruits Abdulraheem Juma and Ali Mohammed Rashid, who have signed from Wahda and Al Shabab respectively were introduced by Phil Anderton, CEO of the capital club. Neill, 33, who was with Turkish giants Galatasaray said he is excited to be with one of the strongest teams in Asia and help them not onaly to make an impression at the AFC Champions League (ACL) but also to defend the two domestic titles. The 33-year-old full-back played for the Turkish side Galatasaray last season, having previously played for Everton, West Ham United, Blackburn Rovers and Millwall Neill said that he came to Al Jazira with the expectations of competing in many tournaments during the season.
