Kampala - Arabstoday
Two Ugandans have been sent to jail after pleading guilty to involvement in the 2010 bombings that killed at least 76 people in the capital, Kampala. Idris Nsubuga, who had admitted planting the explosives, was sentenced to 25 years in prison, while Muhamoud Mugisha got five years for conspiracy. Somalia\'s Islamist group al-Shabab said it carried out the bombings. It said it was retaliation for Uganda\'s military support for the UN-backed government in Somalia.
