A conscript was killed and 16 others were wounded when an explosive charge went off in Arish.

The roadside bomb was planted by unidentified men, according to a statement issued by the Interior Ministry on Saturday.

The injured were rushed to hospital to receive treatment, while the security forces combed the area to track down the perpetrators.
