An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted West Chile Rise at 13:32:20 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 41.3235 degrees south latitude and 84.9813 degrees west longitude.
