An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted 161km NW of Kota Ternate, Indonesia at 19: 29:33 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 45.18 km, was initially determined to be at 1.9772 degrees north latitude and 126.5341 degrees east longitude.
