An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted 90km S of Raoul Island, New Zealand at 21: 38:00 GMT on Monday (05:38:00 Beijing Time), the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 27.81 km, was initially determined to be at 30.0726 degrees south latitude and 177.7235 degrees west longitude.
