An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted 140 km WSW of Naze, Japan at 12:06:04 Beijing Time (04:06:04 GMT) on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 28.0311 degrees north latitude and 128.1045 degrees east longitude.
