quake hits 161km west south west of Te Anau

An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted 161km WSW of Te Anau, New Zealand 05:13: 42 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 46.104 degrees south latitude and 165.8821 degrees east longitude.
