A mild tremor shook several areas in Lebanon, including the capital, Beirut, early Sunday, residents said.
The European Mediterranean Seismological Center said the epicenter of the 4.0-magnitude earthquake was at sea, 47 km southwest of Beirut.
There was no immediate report of damage or casualties in Lebanon.
