An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale this morning hit south of the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh. Head of the Egyptian National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research Dr. Hatim Odeh said in a statement today that the Institute has not received any reports on property damage or human losses, adding that Sharm el Sheikh resident felt the tremor which hit a the depth of 12 km.(QNA)
