The Environment Public Authority (EPA) launched Thursday its emergency project to counter gas leakage at industrial sites. EPA executive Ayman Bujiarah told KUNA that the project aimed at devising a comprehensive apparatus to tackle gas emissions from factories during times of crisis. The project will require manufactorers, dealing with gas and chemicals, to submit a detailed emergency plan in case of gas leakage, said the EPA official, affirming that the authority would cooperate with all sides to prevent any incident of leakage from occurring in the country.
