Hurricane Katia reformed over the Atlantic on Friday, US forecasters said, as the now-strengthening storm churned westward toward a possible collision with the US East Coast next week. "Katia regains hurricane status" with sustained winds of 75 miles (120 kilometers) per hour, the Miami-based National Hurricane Center said in its latest bulletin.
