An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale rocked eastern Indonesia's Maluku province on Thursday, the country's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency said. The epicenter was at 109 kilometers northwest of Halmahera Barat Province and at a depth of 10 kilometers under seabed. Indonesia has frequent earthquakes due to its location on the Pacific " Ring of Fire".
