The collapsed Hotel in Van

 As many as 14 aftershocks have been recorded after the magnitude-5.7 quake that struck the eastern Romanian county of Vrancea on Saturday evening, said the Romanian National Institute of Earth Physics on Sunday.
The quake on Saturday was the largest in Romania in a decade. It disrupted telecommunications in some towns in Vrancea county and created anxieties among local residents. Power supplies were also interrupted in four communes, according to the authorities in Vrancea.
Property damage was also reported in the region.
