An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale jolted Beeroum region in mid-south province of Fars of Iran early Wednesday morning. According to a report by the seismography center of Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred early Wednesday and its epicenter was on 27.50 degrees latitude and 53.61 degrees longitude. There is no immediate report on possible casualty or damages, according to Iranian news agency (IRNA). Beeroum region is located in southern part of the province somewhere between the cities of Lar and Lamerd.
