The participants to the 3rd conference of Arab and Latin-American ministers of Culture hailed at the end of their meeting in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) "Algeria fulfilling of its commitments in line with the objectives drawn by the Arab-Latin American Summit," Culture Ministry said Saturday in a release. The Algerian delegation report on the progress of the construction works of the Arab-Latin American library in Zéralda (Algiers) "was welcomed by the participants in the conference, especially as this cultural infrastructure was designed by Brazilian architect, Oscar Niemeyer," the statement said. Algeria’s efforts for the promotion of translation and the cultural rapprochement between the Arab and Latino-American Countries have been also highlighted by the participants, the same source added. The 3rd conference of Arab and Latin American Ministers of Culture was held from April 28 to 30 in Riyadh in coordination with the Arab League and Alecso. Intellectuals and experts took part to consolidate the cultural dialogue between the Arab and Latin America countries.
