French artist Sophie Lamm introduces one of her paintings to visitors during her personal exhibition "Life in a Painting" in Beijing, capital of China, Sept. 13, 2014. The exhibition kicked off Saturday at Yishu 8, an art gallery in Beijing. Sophie Lamm is the 2014 laureate of the Yishu 8 Prize, a Sino-French culture and art communications project originated in 2011. Laureates of the Yishu 8 Prize, all of whom are young French artists, will be given the opportunity to stay at Yishu 8 as well as hold personal exhibitions.
