The Hamdan International Photography Award (HIPA) for photography is to organise two workshops in the field of photography from 13th to 15th of this month, at the headquarters of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) featuring talks by Caroline Metcalf, Director of Photography at Conde Nast Publications UK and Henk van Kooten from the Netherlands. Ali Khalifa Bin Thalith, Secretary-General of the Award, said that aim of organising such workshops is to exploit the presence of leading experts in the world of photography within the participation of the award's judging panel members and world renowned photographers in the third edition of the award, so as to achieve benefits for those who are interested in photography. He noted that the award body had received hundreds of applications from photographers and professionals working in media organisations.
