Cairo - MENA
An exhibition of restored monuments will be opened on Thursday at the Egyptian Museum in Downtown Cairo, the minister of antiquities said.
In statements Tuesday, Mamdouh Damaty said the exhibition will showcase 226 artifacts restored in 2014-2015 from several foreign states, including France, Germany, the US, Britain and Denmark.
The exhibition crowns the efforts exerted by the ministry over years to restore smuggled monuments, he said.
